the kick for spamming is okay, but kicking someone for the word noob is a bit to crazy

When you handle people like this its important to stay cool. Dont let them provoke you. And kicking people because they call you a noob is fine as long as you tried to warn him several time before you did so. Atleast this is what i usually does.
The rules state they you should respect the staff, he broke a rule and got the right punishemnt.
But since he only called you a noob i hope that you told him to stop several times before you kicked him. We all handle situations like this our own way, if you want to be very strict about the rules you can kick everyone that break one rule one time even if its without a warning, when someone break a rule they should be punished period. You choose the own way to handle this no one can tell you how to do your job as long as you enforce the rules of the server.
He will however not be banned since this isnt the worst thing he can do, but if its continues he might get banned.
